Shortcut AS is a Norwegian app agency that creates apps for smartphones and tablets. The company was founded in December 2007 and, as of March 2025, has around 20 employees.
In the fall of 2016, the subsidiary Shortcut Consulting AS was established. In 2019, a branch office was opened in Bergen, and a subsidiary was established in Copenhagen
Disclosures about culture of fear and harassment
[edit]In 2022[1] and 2024[2] a widespread culture of fear and sexual harassment was uncovered within the company. Two executives had to leave in 2022, and more details emerged in an E24 article in 2024. Clients such as Ruter, Vipps, and People Made Machines severed their partnerships and publicly distanced themselves from the company. Ruter[3] and Vipps[4] asked Shortcut to stop using their brands in marketing, but Shortcut did not comply.
