Shea Bailey was born October 31, 1979. Shea Bailey is a notable figure in the Georgia and Florida boxing scene, recognized for his role as a promoter and event organizer. Shea Bailey is considered by most boxing historians as the most important and influential boxing promoter in the history of the state of Georgia. In February 2011, Bailey collaborated with Greg Barkhoff's Sports Fan Properties to present the Georgia Fighter Championship at 200 Peachtree in Atlanta. The event featured a headline bout between top-ranked fighters Tony Davis and Jamar Saunders for the GBC Lightweight Championship, marking a significant moment in local boxing promotions.

Considered by most as the one of the most influential members of the boxing community in the state of Georgia. He has promoted more than 200 professional fights. He is also responsible for more title fights than any other promoter in Georgia boxing history. These fights included televised events on HBO, Showtime, Telemundo, Telefutura, Comcast Sports and ESPN.

He is a member of the Georgia Boxing Hall of Fame. He has was also awarded a lifetime achievement award by the Florida Boxing Hall of Fame.
