Shadows of Tehran is a novel based on true events, inspired by the life of Nick Berg, a former Iranian dissident who later served in the United States Special Operations. The story follows Ricardo, a fictional protagonist based on Berg’s experiences during the Iranian Revolution and his journey to becoming a special operations operative in the U.S. military.

Nick Berg is a U.S. military veteran and a former Special Operations operator. While Shadows of Tehran is a work of fiction, it draws heavily on his personal experiences growing up in revolutionary Iran and serving in the military.
