Comment: The subject does not appear to meet Wikipedia's notability guidelines, as there is a lack of significant coverage in reliable, independent secondary sources. Additionally, the draft reads as promotional in tone, and many of the claims are unsourced or poorly sourced. Afstromen (talk) 12:59, 30 May 2025 (UTC)

This exposure led to his playback singing debut in 2012 with "Po Nee Po" from the Tamil film 3, composed by Anirudh Ravichander.[7]
Since then, he has collaborated with eminent composers including A. R. Rahman, Ilaiyaraaja, D. Imman, Anirudh Ravichander, Vidyasagar, G. V. Prakash Kumar, Harris Jayaraj, M. Ghibran, Santhosh Narayanan, and Sean Roldan.[4]
During the COVID-19 lockdown, he ventured into independent music starting with the single "Chikku Maaney".[8]

Notable Collaborations
[edit]- "Elay Makka"[14], Coke Studio Tamil Season 2 (2023) with Andrea Jeremiah and Sanjay Subrahmanyan[15]
Independent productions
[edit]Since 2020, Sathyaprakash also composes and produces independent singles and albums, under label 'SP Originals' on YouTube, as well as with his brand "Kriyaa", a contemporary fusion band that uniquely conceptualises Carnatic compositions by blending ideas from different genres of music.[16]
"Chikku Maaney" (2021)
[edit]Chikku Maaney, sung and composed by Sathyaprakash, was written by lyricist Ahamad Shyam. It combined playful gibberish with a poignant theme—depicting the life of a corporate employee stuck in a monotonous job while yearning to pursue his true passion. Inspired partly by Sathyaprakash’s own journey from engineering to music, the track encourages listeners to take risks in chasing their dreams.
Chikku Maaney is notable for its vibrant music video, directed by Ragavan, a longtime friend of the artist, and features Sathyaprakash in an acting role. The video incorporates CGI elements to enhance its dramatic and narrative appeal. This release marked a creative milestone in Sathyaprakash’s independent music career, which began during the COVID-19 lockdown. Leveraging his home studio setup, he transitioned from playback singing to producing original music across genres, often collaborating remotely with his band. [8]
"S. P. B. - A Tribute" (2020)
[edit]When S. P. Balasubrahmanyam, the legendary singer passed away during COVID-19, Sathyaprakash composed and arranged a collaboration with several reputed musicians such as K. S. Chithra, Shankar Mahadevan, Rajhesh Vaidhya from the music industry titled S.P.B, A tribute to the legend. The composition assembled blockbuster phrases and opening lines from various gems sung by the deceased legend, with each musician singing it as a tribute. According to Sathyaprakash's release notes, he considered that the only liberating thing that can save us from the irreplaceable loss of a musical legend is his music. [SP Balasubrahmanyam] made people around him happy and cheerful just like his music. Even his sad songs leave us with a smile. So it’s only suitable that we don’t mourn his loss with tears, but celebrate his music that embodies all he was. How could we bid farewell to him, when he continues to live through his music? Every song and word of his music connects to our soul at some point of our lives.[17]
