Rajesh Jain (born 28 June 1958) is an Indian industrialist, philanthropist, and the Managing Director of LPS Bossard Pvt. Ltd. He is recognized for his contributions to the manufacturing sector in India and his extensive philanthropic work, particularly in the areas of education, healthcare, and rural development.

Early life and education

Rajesh Jain was born in Rohtak, Haryana. He completed his primary and secondary education at Birla School in Pilani, Rajasthan. In 1980, he earned a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from NIT Kurukshetra. In 2004, he completed a three-year Executive Management Program (OPM) at Harvard Business School, USA.

Career

Rajesh Jain began his career in the fasteners industry in 1980. By 1986, he was exporting to Europe and the United States. In 1998, he founded LPS Bossard Pvt. Ltd., a joint venture with Swiss-based Bossard Group. The company has grown to serve over 35 countries, with clients across the aerospace, automotive, electronics, and defense sectors. Notably, LPS products have been used in ISRO and DRDO missions, including the Chandrayaan-3 space mission.

Under his leadership, LPS Bossard employs over 950 people directly and supports around 2000 families indirectly.
