Raghavan Pratap "R. P." Shravan (born 15 December 1995) is an Indian Carnatic vocalist and playback singer. He gained prominence as the runner-up of *Star Vijay*’s *Airtel Super Singer Junior* Season 2 (2009) and later reached the Top 7 in *Indian Idol* Season 9 (2017).

Early life and education

Shravan was born into a Tamil family in Chennai, where he began learning Carnatic music under Padma Chandilyan and later advanced under Delhi P. Sunder Rajan. He studied at Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan, Chennai, scored 482/500 in his 12th CBSE exams, and graduated with a B.Com from Loyola College.

At 13, Shravan auditioned for *Super Singer Junior 2*, where he became runner-up. He won titles like “Star of the Series” and “Most Outstanding Performer.” He was widely praised for Malayalam and Tamil classical song renditions.
