Professor Dave Explains is an educational YouTube channel created by Italian-American science communicator Dave Farina (born 23 July 1983)[1]. Launched in January 2015, the channel aims to make complex scientific concepts accessible to a broad audience, covering subjects such as chemistry, physics, biology, and mathematics. He's also a Member of the band The Lonely Wild.[2]
Early life and education
[edit]Farina earned a BA in chemistry from Carleton College and an MA in science education from California State University.[3][4] Before starting his online career, he taught for about a decade in high school and undergraduate settings, focusing on organic chemistry, general chemistry, and physics.[5]
