Prixtel is a light MVNO mobile network operator based at Aix-en-Provence. It proposes « flexible » plans, whose prices can vary each month depending on the data consumption of the customer. The user was able to chose between the Orange or SFR infrastructure until the end of June 2021. Following Prixtel's purchase by Altice[1], the operator uses exclusively SFR's network[2],[3].
History

In 2011, Prixtel launches an ADSL residential gateway (« Prixtel Box »), available from 22,99 € per month[5]. User's opinions about the compagny are divided[6].
In April 2014, Prixtel buys the public divistion of the MVNO Zéro Forfait[7].
January 24th 2018, Prixtel lauches a « 100 % free » 4G mobile network plan under a new brand, named Blu[8]. This plan is funded by ads, which constrains users to perform « actions » in order to get points (called « éclairs ») to be able to call, send SMS/MMS or access to internet.
Visual identity
[edit]In November 2016, Prixtel rebrands its website and logo : its coulour switches from blue to coral red[9]. In 2021, Prixtel changes its logo once again : the text becomes black while the exclamation mark is removed and replaced by a blue dot at the end of the logo.
