Prashanth Techno is an Indian music composer and producer based in Chennai. Techno composes music for Tamil-language films, web series, and television. His work includes the Netflix documentary Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairytale (2024), the SonyLIV anthology Story of Things (2023), the reality show Bigg Boss (Tamil TV series) (2017), and the podcast series Kutti Stories with Ash (2023), hosted by Indian Cricketer Ravichandran Ashwin.
Career
[edit]Prashanth and Harish began collaborating as Madley Blues in 2011 on advertising and live performances.[1][2]
They made their film debut with Sutta Kadhai (2013).[3]
In 2014, they composed for Nerungi Vaa Muthamidathe, a Tamil road drama incorporating folk-rock elements.[4][5][6]
They composed the theme for Bigg Boss (Tamil TV series) in 2017.[7]
In 2020, they contributed “Raasa Mavan” to Dharala Prabhu.[8]
In 2023, they scored the web anthology Story of Things on SonyLIV.[9] He also composed the theme for the YouTube short series Kutti Stories with Ash.[10]
In 2024, Prashanth composed the score for the Netflix documentary Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairytale.[11]
Prashanth appeared on *The Indoencers* podcast in 2021 discussing his musical work.[12]
