Early life and education
[edit]Carpenter holds a Master of Science degree in Information Assurance from Norwich University. He is also a Certified Chief Information Security Officer (C|CISO).[3][4]
Career
[edit]Carpenter is the Chief Human Risk Management Strategist at KnowBe4, where he focuses on the intersection of human behavior and cybersecurity risk. Before joining KnowBe4, he worked as a research analyst at Gartner, where his work covered topics related to security culture, awareness programs, and human factors in information security.[5]
He has also been involved in cybersecurity education and has spoken at conferences and industry events on topics such as social engineering, organizational security culture, and behavioral risk.[6]
