Founded in 2016, the platform connects advertisers with newsletter publishers and provides tools for managing sponsorships and native advertising campaigns.[1]

History

[edit]

Paved was founded in 2016 by John McLaughlin in New York City.[2] The company was established to support sponsorship transactions in email newsletters, a format that gained wider adoption among publishers and advertisers in the 2010s-2020s.[3]

In March 2025, Paved was acquired by Redbrick, a Canadian technology company that owns and operates a portfolio of digital businesses.[4]

Products and services

[edit]

Paved operates a marketplace that enables advertisers to purchase ad placements in email newsletters.[5] The company also offers a native CPC advertising network for email newsletters.[6][7]
