PC Mohammed Nadeem QCB, BCAc is a Police Officer in the UK working for Greater Manchester Police. He is an award winning Police Officer who has received a multitude of awards.
Early Life
[edit]PC Mohammed Nadeem was born in Rochdale, Greater Manchester in the UK. He previously worked as a youth and community worker and Police Community Support Officer. He then joined the Greater Manchester Police Force based at the Bury station, where he currently works.
PC Mohammed Nadeem is a British Pakistani whose family originates from the village Kathar near the town of Dadyal in Azad Jammu Kashmir.
River Rescue
[edit]Whilst on duty PC Nadeem jumped into a river during a cold winter’s day in February 2018, to save the life of a man. He jumped in risking his own life in order to save the life of another. The most remarkable aspect about this which makes it a great act of bravery is that he could not swim but he still jumped into the river in order to save the life of another person.
PC Nadeem saved the life of a member of the public by jumping into the river Irwell. He received the Chief Constables recommendation which stated: “Mohammed bravely jumped eight feet into the River Irwell to save a man intent on taking his own life. He remained with the man in the freezing cold water until a ladder was lowered to assist them getting out”.

Awards
[edit]2] PC Nadeem Wins Police Federation Award July 2018 & meets previous Chancellor Rt Hon Sajid Javid MP.
3] PC Nadeem Won The Police Raja Basharat Memorial Trophy
4] PC Nadeem Won The Amplifon trophy in ‘service to their country’ category, in October 2018 at a ceremony held in London at the Royal Navy & Army Club.

6] PC Nadeem Wins British Citizens Award January 2021.
7] On 15 June 2022 PC Mohammed Nadeem was given a Queens Jubilee Award for working through COVID as an emergency worker, responding to police related incidents.
8] PC Mohammed Nadeem was nominated for a civilian gallantry award. He was awarded The Queen’s Commendation for Bravery (QCB) in March 2023.
