Orochi Network is a blockchain platform that focuses on verifiable data infrastructure and zero-knowledge proofs (ZKPs) to enhance data correctness, scalability, and security in Web3 applications.[1] The network is currently in its testnet phase and has not yet issued a native token.[2]
Overview
[edit]Orochi Network is designed to provide a trustless and decentralized computational layer, addressing issues related to computation, data correctness, and data availability. The network integrates zero-knowledge cryptography and multi-party computation (MPC) to ensure data privacy and security.[3]
Features
[edit]- Verifiable Data Infrastructure: Uses zero-knowledge proofs (ZKPs) to validate and secure data.
- zkDatabase: A decentralized storage solution leveraging cryptographic proofs for data integrity.
- Orand: A verifiable random function (VRF) for generating trustless randomness across applications.
- Orocle: A decentralized oracle providing reliable off-chain data.
- zkDA Layer: A data availability layer designed for high-performance blockchain applications.
Testnet
[edit]Orochi Network has launched its testnet phase, allowing developers to build and experiment with its infrastructure.[4] The testnet focuses on stress-testing the network’s scalability and security features.
ONtegrity NFT Collection
[edit]ONtegrity is the primary NFT collection within the Orochi Network ecosystem. It is initially minted on Base before being transitioned to the Orochi Network mainnet upon its launch.[5]
Security & Challenges
[edit]Orochi Network prioritizes security through the implementation of multi-party computation (MPC) and zero-knowledge cryptography. However, as an emerging blockchain infrastructure, it faces challenges related to network adoption, developer engagement, and regulatory scrutiny.[6]
