Niv Amar (Hebrew: ניב עמר; born 31 March 1997) is an Israeli racing driver who currently competes in the NASA SoCal Porsche 944 Spec.[2] He previously competed in the Sparco 206 CUP touring championship in Israel, wining the championship in 2021 and 2022.
Early life
[edit]Amar was born in Jerusalem, Israel and grew up in Azrikam, Israel. he later moved to Ramat Gan, and currently resides in Los Angeles, California. He began his motorsports career in Israel, initially competing in the Sparco 206 CUP touring championship in Israel.

2021
[edit]Amar made his debut in the Sparco 206 CUP in 2021 with CCX team. He won his first championship in his debut season[3], scoring one win and two podium finishes in five races.
2022
[edit]At the beginning of the 2022 season, Amar secured sponsorship from "Auto Modein Group", providing support for his championship campaign. Amar returned to the series and successfully defended his title, finishing the season with two wins and five podiums in six races.
NASA SoCal Porsche 944 Spec

2025
[edit]In 2025, Amar moved to the United States to compete in the NASA SoCal Porsche 944 Spec championship with RaceMetrics Motorsports. In his debut season, he competed in seven races, scoring 490 points and finishing sixth in the overall standings.[4]
2026
[edit]It is confirmed that in 2026, Amar will continue competing in the NASA SoCal Porsche 944 Spec championship with RaceMetrics Motorsports, aiming to pursue the regional and national championship titles.
