Nitro Type is a free-to-use typing game developed by Teaching.com. It was released on September 8, 2011.

Gameplay

[edit]

In the game, the player races up to five other players, and in order for their car to run, they must type sentences that are displayed in a box under the race track. The faster a player types, the faster the car goes. If a player misses a key, or types a wrong key, the car stops until the correct key is typed. During the race, a player can skip one word by typing the tab key.

After a race, a player earns money based on the rank they got. This can be used to obtain cars and trails.[3] In addition to earning money from races, the player also earns XP, which levels them up through seasons. Each level gives a certain reward, including money, cars, trails, or more.

Players can choose to purchase "Nitro Gold", which gives them select cars, and removes advertisements from the game.
