Draft:Netframe

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Netframe is a virtual machine management platform developed by NeonDynamics. The Netframe platform consists of 4 core products: Netframe Core, Netframe Manager, Netframe Converter and Netframe Backup.

Netframe Core is the hypervisor software, the installable Operating System, KVM hypervisor module and Netframe code bundled together into an easily installable image.

Netframe Manager is a management appliance, that is used to manage multiple Netframe Core hosts that also enables single-pane-of-glass management with infrastructure heirachy management and RBAC controls for granular user access.

Netframe Converter is a VM appliance that can quickly and easily migrate Virtual Machines from an ESXi host to a Netframe Core host.

Netframe Backup (in development), is a VM appliance that integrates with Netframe Core and/or Netframe Manager, to backup provisioned VMs.

The NeonDynamics team commenced work building the Netframe software stack in 1H 2024[1] and launched a year later in 2025.
