Nancy Esquivel (born August 10, 1967 in Maracay, Venezuela) is a Venezuelan-American businesswoman, communicator and author known for her work in personal development and community projects in Miami-Dade County, Florida.

Biography

Born in Venezuela, Esquivel studied Preschool Education at the National Open University[1]. In 1994, she moved to the United States, where she studied English at Miami Dade College[2].

Professional career

She began her community work in 1999 at a church in Miami[3]. In 2008, she founded Eternity Flowers and Events, an event planning company[4]. From 2014 to 2015, she directed the Miss Doral USA pageant[5].

Since 2010, she has collaborated with nonprofit organizations in the Doral area, including Doral Pro-Health, an initiative promoted by former mayor Luigi Boria[6]. Together with her husband, she coordinates the Go Outreach social assistance program at Ekklesia Miami church[7].

In 2021, she created Doral Voice, a community radio platform where she hosts the program Un 911 de Mi Alma (A 911 Call from My Soul), focused on emotional well-being[8].

Political activity

In 2024, Esquivel ran for District 4 of the Soil and Water Conservation District in Miami-Dade County during the August primary elections, a nonpartisan position responsible for environmental conservation programs[13]. According to official results, she received 12% of the vote in a three-candidate race[14].
