This submission appears to read more like an advertisement than an entry in an encyclopedia. Encyclopedia articles need to be written from a neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of independent, reliable, published sources, not just to materials produced by the creator of the subject being discussed. This is important so that the article can meet Wikipedia's verifiability policy and the notability of the subject can be established. If you still feel that this subject is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, please rewrite your submission to comply with these policies. Declined by Qcne 5 days ago. | ![]() |

History
[edit]After working in the software industry for a few years, Wei Ming began considering the idea of starting his own business. In his spare time, he started exploring potential directions and gradually developed a plan.
In 2006, Wei registered MiniTool®[2][3] and began working with others who shared an interest in disk and data management. They focused on creating utility software to help users handle storage devices, recover lost data, and perform basic system maintenance.

- MiniTool Partition Wizard (2009)[6][7][8][9][10]: Manages disk partitions, supports OS migration and MBR-to-GPT conversion.
- MiniTool ShadowMaker (2016)[11][12]: Provides backup, system recovery, disk cloning, and file sync.
Transition Phase (2019–Present)
[edit]Since 2019, MiniTool has expanded into multimedia and document software:
- MiniTool MovieMaker (2019)[13]: Basic video editor for cutting, merging, and adding effects.
- MiniTool Video Converter (2020): Converts, compresses, and records video/audio files.
- MiniTool PDF Editor (2023): Edits, converts, and annotates PDFs for various use cases.
- MiniTool System Booster (2023): Optimizes system performance by cleaning junk files and managing startups.

Business Model
[edit]MiniTool attracts users with free versions of its software and generates revenue by offering advanced features through a subscription-based model.
