About

[edit]

The IP event is hosted by CTLG, a media relations company based in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. Focused on the media and entertainment industry, the first edition was held in collaboration with µLearn UCEK, a student community under the University of Kariavattom. µLearn had previously organized "Permute," with GTech a well-known tech summit in Kerala. [2]

The event looked at how storytelling, publicity, influencer marketing, and digital virality are shaping today’s entertainment economy. It covered topics such as the changing role of traditional journalism, the rise of creator-led content, and the growing need for credible public relations in the careers of artists. The agenda aimed to create open discussions about how media and entertainment now function in a hybrid digital space. [3][4] Speakers included journalists and professionals from major media outlets like The Times of India, The Week, Rolling Stone India and others. The organizers have announced that upcoming editions of the summit will be hosted at various colleges across Kerala, continuing to focus on themes related to the media and entertainment industry.
