macOS Tahoe will be the twenty-second and the next major release of Apple's MacOS operating system. It will be announced in June 2025, at the 2025 Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC). It is the direct of successor to MacOS Sequoia and will be announced alongside iOS 26, iPadOS 26, watchOS 26, visionOS 26, and tvOS 26.

Starting from this version of macOS, Apple will be changing its numbering convention for consistency across all operating systems.[1]
