[edit]M. Soundarya Saravanan (born 1982) is an Indian actress, yoga instructor, and nutritionist who works primarily in Tamil cinema and web series. She began her acting career in theatre and has since appeared in numerous films and digital platforms. She is also a certified diabetic educator and yoga practitioner, known for her diverse academic background and wellness advocacy.
Early life and education
[edit]M. Soundarya Saravanan was born in 1982 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. She completed her schooling at Jaigopal Garodia High School and graduated with a B.Sc in Nutrition and Dietetics from Quaid-e-Millath Government College for Women. She earned an M.Sc in Nutrition and Food Service Management and an M.Sc in Yoga from Annamalai University.
She is a Certified Diabetic Educator from the University of New South Wales (UNSW), Sydney and a disciple of B.K.S. Iyengar in the Iyengar Yoga tradition. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Yoga at Sunrise University.
