Martin de Luna Jr., known by their stage name Lushious Massacr, is an American makeup artist and drag performer who is a judge on the second season of Drag Latina. She won an Emmy Award for her work as a makeup artist in 2022 and hosts the web series Dragvestigations on YouTube.

Career

[edit]

Massacr, a native of the Rio Grande Valley in South Texas, got her start in the Brownsville and Houston drag scene.[2] She started doing drag around 2012 and worked as a makeup artist for MAC Cosmetics.[3]

In 2022, she was nominated for and won a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Makeup for a Variety, Nonfiction or Reality Program as part of the 74th Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards for her work as Shangela's makeup artist in an episode of the HBO series We're Here.[4][5]

In December 2024, Massacr almost decided to quit YouTube and apply for work at SpaceX, citing financial instability from her income doing drag and creating social media content, but instead she decided to start making her now viral Dragvestigations series.[6]

In 2025, Massacr joined Interview as an advice columnist.[7] Them magazine named Massacr its "It Girl of the Year" in 2025.[8] She performed at the LadyLand festival in Brooklyn on June 27, 2025.[9][10]
