Lotus 8 Esports was founded in Winnipeg, Manitoba as a competitive esports organization focused on Rocket League, Call Of Duty Warzone and youth esports development.
The organization later expanded into scholastic esports, wellness education, and community programming throughout Manitoba. Lotus 8 developed the PMM (Performance Mindset & Mindfulness) system, which combines meditation, mobility training, mental health education, and nutrition practices for esports athletes and students.
In 2025 and 2026, Lotus 8 partnered with schools and organizations across Manitoba to deliver esports wellness programming and events for students, including programs within First Nations communities.

Data Skaters is an educational esports and data literacy program developed in collaboration with educational and technology partners in Manitoba.

Data Skaters was presented as part of educational and esports innovation programming through C21 Canada in 2026.[4]

Lotus 8 has worked with organizations including TELUS Canada, Bow Valley College, Manitoba First Nations Education Resource Centre (MFNERC), the Manitoba Scholastic Esports Association (MSEA), Gamecon Canada and Girl Gamer Festival

Lotus 8 has participated in scholastic esports initiatives in Manitoba.[5]

Lotus 8 partnered with RESPAWNED to launch the GirlGamer Winnipeg Festival in 2026.[6][7]
