Lina Luaces Estefan (born August 2, 2002) is a Cuban-American model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Universe Cuba 2025. She is the daughter of television host Lili Estefan and represented Cuba at the Miss Universe 2025 pageant.
Early life
[edit]Luaces Estefan was born in Miami, Florida, to a Cuban family. She is the daughter of television personality Lili Estefan and businessman Lorenzo Luaces.[1]
She is also related to the internationally recognized Estefan family: her great-aunt and great-uncle are musicians Gloria Estefan and Emilio Estefan.[2]
Although raised in the United States, Luaces has said she strongly identifies with her Cuban heritage. During her adolescence, she made efforts to improve her Spanish in order to better connect with her cultural roots.[3]
Miss Universe Cuba 2025
[edit]Luaces was crowned Miss Universe Cuba 2025 on July 8, 2025, during a gala held at Milander Park in Hialeah, Florida.[1]
She represented the province of Santiago de Cuba, honoring her family's origins.[2]
