La'Tee is a South African rapper, producer, and songwriter best known for his album Later Island and extended plays Trap Season and Few Moments Later. He gained recognition through viral social media content and independent releases on platforms such as Spotify and Apple Music.
Career
[edit]La'Tee began his music journey in 2018 by recording a track titled Loyal, featuring Kay, B-Bucks, and Ray Lucci. In 2022, he released his debut single, Baddest, which marked his official entry into the South African trap and hip-hop scene.
In 2023, La'Tee released his debut album, Later Island, which blended melodic trap with introspective storytelling. The following year, he released multiple singles and collaborated with fellow artist Walker'Z on a joint EP titled Trap Season. He later followed up with another EP, Few Moments Later, featuring guest appearances by 23-WAVE, Walker'Z, and SIMS.
