L3:Azrael also known as L3: The Beginning is an upcoming Indian-Malayalam language film directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran, written by Murali Gopy and produced by Antony Perumbavoor and Gokulam Gopalan under the banner of Aashirvad Cinemas and Sree Gokulam Movies. It is the sequel to the 2025 film L2: Empuraan and is also the third instalment to the L Franchise. The film stars Mohanlal and Rick Yune in the main roles reprising their roles from the previous film as Khureshi Abr'aam / Stephen Nedumpally and Shenlong Triad. The film explores the past life of Stephen Nedumpally that how he became the international criminal Khureshi Abr'aam and the present battle between the two powerful international organizations which are the "Khureshi Ab'raam Nexus" and "Shen Triad Axis".

Overview
