Kadeja Assaad (born 30 March 1981), from Camden, New South Wales Australia.

Kadeja grew up in Chester Hill NSW. Her family had a vegetable farm in Leppington NSW. She went to Malek Fahd Islamic College till year 8. She then graduated from Bankstown Girls High School in year 10 of 1996.

Kadeja grew up working on the farm in her teenage years before she got married.

She is an avid conservationist who takes care of our native Australian vegetation and native Australian wildlife.

16th of January 2024, Kadeja appeared on Channel 10, The Project. The producers followed her on a hunting trip and also spoke on the importance of why hunting has a huge impact on her family life in a positive way. Watch the video here!

Former Sporting Shooters Association of Australia Sydney (SSAA Sydney) Committee Board Member from 2017-2020. From 2022-2024, Kadeja worked full time for Sporting Shooters Association of Australia NSW (SSAA NSW) as the Communications and Projects Officer. She then returned working for the Sydney Branch as the Social Media Manager. She is back full time working in the Environmental Sector.

As a WIRES volunteer, Kadeja medicates Wombats who have Mange. She is a huge animal advocate and is dedicated to making sure animals are treated with upmost respect.

Founder of the SSAA Sydney Ladies Shooting Program (Try Shooting Program) since 2018 ongoing.

Political candidate for Shooters, Fishers and Farmers Party in 2021 for the Local Government Elections, Camden Council (New South Wales).

Starred on television Commercials. Coca-Cola, Youi insurance and the NSW Government Health & Safety ad.

Kadeja also has been on The Kyle and Jackie O Show live on radio at KIIS 106.5, Podcasts and she’s been in many Articles & Newspapers.

Kadeja made history by being publicly known as the 'Hijabi Muslim Huntress'. Kadeja took on hunting after watching her father as a hunter when she was younger.

She harvests fresh meat from her hunts to feed her family and friends. Kadeja continues to hunt and values the meaning behind hunting. It's a source of fresh clean meat and free which is financially helpful as a single parent. Kadeja is an ethical hunter who loves nature and animals. She is an advocate and a hunting ambassador. She is known as Kadeja or Kadz - and online as Kadeja Assaad and Kadz Huntress. Many of her followers admire her knowledge and her kindness towards humanity, animals and the bushland.

Kadeja want's people to seek knowledge on hunting as hunting still happens now, in modern society.

Hunting helps our country. It preserves our native wildlife. Hunting helps farmers keep their livestock safe from predators and the land destruction caused by non-native wildlife.

Kadeja is a great role model in this day and age regarding conservation. She believes conservation is very important to keep the world healthy and wildlife numbers under control, so we won't worry about wildlife extinction.

'Hunting is Conservation'

Kadeja teaches many people on why she hunts and does bush regeneration.

Bush Regeneration is a huge part of her life. What is Bush regeneration. Bush regeneration is a form of nature restoration. It is very important to keep planting native trees, native vegetation, building habitats and conserving our Australian bushland. It also involves removing non-native vegetation and non-native trees in order to give our Australian bushland a chance to thrive. It has the same concept and meaning as hunting has in conserving our native wildlife.
