K. Inbasekar IAS is a 2015 batch IAS officer and is currently the District Collector of Kasaragod, Kerala.
Early Life and Education
[edit]K. Inbasekar was born in Devala, a small town in the Nilgiris district of Tamil Nadu. His parents, Kalimuthu and Poovathy, working as laborers on tea plantations. He got his Bachelor's degree in Agriculture from Tamil Nadu Agricultural University in Coimbatore and later earned a Master's in Agricultural Economics from the College of Agriculture in Hyderabad.
Career
[edit]Before joining the Civil service, Inbasekar worked as a scientist at the Indian Agricultural Research Institute in New Delhi from 2013 to 2015. he received excellent scores in the UPSC Civil Services Examination and begun his administrative career as the Assistant Collector of Kozhikode in 2016.
In 2024, he took on the role of District Collector in Kasaragod, Kerala.
