KOPLE (Korean: 코플) is a South Korean travel-tech organization that operates a community platform connecting international visitors with regional travel and cultural experiences.

Activities

[edit]

KOPLE's programs are designed as "relational tours" that emphasize interaction between international visitors and local communities.[2] As of September 2025, the organization's community included over 2,000 members, and it had organized trips to more than 40 smaller cities and towns in South Korea.[3][2]

The organization develops tour programs in partnership with municipal bodies. In 2025, it signed an agreement with the Hwasun Cultural Tourism Foundation to create tours for international students, with the stated goal of developing a "new global tourism model" focused on communication between the region and international visitors.[3]

In addition to organized tours, the organization co-hosts cultural exchange events. In May 2025, it worked with a local youth group in Seoul to run "K-ING Day," a program that included neighborhood tours and activities intended to help students form a stronger connection with their local area.[4] Media coverage has also noted the organization's development of a technology platform to support its programs.[5]

Recognition

[edit]

In June 2025, KOPLE received an excellence award at the sixth HUBS Young Lion Competition, an entrepreneurship contest hosted by Hanyang University.[6]
