Journal of Molecular and Cellular Cardiology Plus (JMCC Plus) is a peer-reviewed open-access journal established in 2022 by the International Society for Heart Research (ISHR). It serves as the sister journal to Journal of Molecular and Cellular Cardiology, prioritizing methodological rigor and accepting a variety of article types including negative results, replication studies, resource papers, reviews, and correspondence.

Aims and scope

JMCC Plus publishes fundamental and translational research aimed at understanding the molecular and cellular mechanisms underlying cardiovascular function and disease. Its editorial scope includes stand-alone negative findings, replication experiments, and multi-omics data sets. A transparent and efficient peer-review process is followed, with additional visibility opportunities via ISHR webinars and social media channels
