The company specializes in prepress software for packaging, labels, folding cartons, corrugated, metal cans and flexible materials, offering both on-premises and cloud-based solutions.

History
[edit]Hybrid Software was founded in 2007 and has since grown through product development and strategic acquisitions. It became part of Hybrid Software Group (formerly Global Graphics PLC) in 2021, forming a broader ecosystem of printing and prepress technology providers that includes ColorLogic, iC3D, Xitron, and Meteor Inkjet.
In 2024, Hybrid Software launched a new business unit, Hybrid BrandZ [1], aimed at brand owners, retailers and CPGs, introducing Artflow, a SaaS-based artwork management, 3D visualization and approval platform.[2]
Products and Technology

- PACKZ – A PDF editor optimized for labels and packaging, offering prepress automation, trapping, and step-and-repeat features. In June 2025, PACKZ Max was introduced, including integrated RIPping in the prepress editor.
- CLOUDFLOW – A modular workflow automation platform for file processing, proofing, and color management. MyCOUDFLOW is the SaaS version.
- iC3D – A 3D visualization tool for packaging design, capable of real-time rendering and embellishment simulation.
- Artflow – A cloud-based artwork approval and lifecycle management tool aimed at brands, retailers and CPGs.
- SmartDFE – A digital front end using AI for high-speed digital press environments, developed by Hybrid Software’s OEM division, Global Graphics Software.[3]
