Hernest

[edit]

Hernest is an American furniture brand specializing in modern and mid-century-inspired home furnishings. The brand designs products that incorporate wood veneer finishes, fluted detailing, and natural materials, and targets residential customers seeking statement furniture for larger living spaces.

History

[edit]

Hernest was established in the early 2020s with an emphasis on delivering accessible, design-focused furniture through a direct-to-consumer model.[1]

As of 2025, Hernest operates seven warehouse facilities across the country.[2]

In 2024, Hernest became a member of the American Home Furnishings Alliance (AHFA) and the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID).[3]

In 2025, the company opened two physical showrooms in California and New Jersey, intended to offer in-person access to selected products and finishes.[4]

Design and Products

[edit]

Hernest's product catalog includes furniture for the living room, dining room, bedroom, and home office. The design style emphasizes retro-inspired forms, neutral color palettes, and tactile surfaces, including ribbed panels and stone elements.

The brand's offerings have been covered by home and lifestyle publications. Houzz included Hernest in a feature on fluted furniture,[5] while Hunker described its seasonal lines as suited to transitional interior updates.[6]

Collections

[edit]

Cascade Collection

[edit]

Hernest introduced the Cascade Collection in 2024. The line features sculptural forms and vertically grooved textures. LA Weekly identified it as part of a broader movement toward expressive, architectural furnishings.[7]

Renata Collection

[edit]

The Renata Collection launched in 2025 with a focus on organic shapes and earth-toned materials. The line was featured in Yahoo Finance and Furniture Today as part of Hernest’s continued expansion into natural-textured, design-led products.[8][1]

Media Coverage

[edit]

Hernest's products have been featured in several online publications. Tasting Table included its dining line in a spring-themed interior roundup.[9]
