Guidde is an American-Israeli technology company that develops a generative artificial intelligence (AI) platform for creating step-by-step video documentation[2] and how-to-guides.[3] The company's technology is used by enterprises for internal training, customer support, employee onboarding, and software adoption.[4]

Guidde was founded in 2020 by serial entrepreneurs Yoav Einav and Dan Sahar.[8][9] The company aims to address challenges in creating and maintaining technical documentation for modern software applications, particularly by replacing traditional manual processes with AI-generated video.[10][11]

Funding

Guidde has raised two primary funding rounds, totaling $30.6 million:

  • October 2023: The company announced a $15.6 million Series A funding round led by Norwest Venture Partners, with participation from existing investors Entrée Capital, Honeystone Ventures, and new investor Tiferes Ventures. The capital was allocated to expanding its engineering, data science, and go-to-market teams.[12][13]
  • February 2025: Guidde announced an expansion of its Series A round, raising an additional $15 million, bringing the total funding to $30.6 million.[14] This round was led by Qualcomm Ventures, with continued participation from Norwest Venture Partners and others. The company stated the funds would be used to accelerate the development of its autonomous AI capabilities and expand its global market presence.[15][16]

The company reported that in the 12 months prior to the February 2025 funding round, its revenue had increased fourfold. At that time, its platform served over 100,000 users across more than 2,000 organizations, including companies like American Eagle Outfitters, Carta, Siemens Energy, and Nasdaq.[15][17]

Products and Technology

Guidde operates as a cloud-based video documentation platform. It is classified by the company as an AI Digital Adoption Platform (ADAP).[15][18][19][20][21]

The platform's core offering uses a browser extension or desktop application to capture a user’s workflow. Key AI features then automate the production process:

  • Magic Capture: Captures screen clicks and keystrokes, and also works with existing documentation (PDF, PPTX, DOCX), automatically segmenting the process into individual steps.[22][23]
  • AI Storyline Generation: Utilizes GPT technology to draft step-by-step descriptive text for each action.[24]
  • Voiceover and Localization: Generates automated voiceovers using a selection of synthetic voices in over 100 languages, allowing users to customize the narrative without recording their own voice.[22]
  • Content Export: Videos can be exported as MP4, GIF, PDF, or PowerPoint Presentation (PPTX) files for use across different knowledge bases and learning management systems.[25][26]

Guidde Broadcast

In February 2025, the company launched Guidde Broadcast, a video platform that provides personalized, automated, and context-aware guidance within applications. Its engine analyzes user behavior, role, and location to automatically curate and surface relevant video training content in real-time.[15][17]

Security and Compliance

The platform has achieved SOC 2 Type II certification. For enterprise customers, features include single sign-on (SSO) and access controls. It also includes an automated Magic Redaction feature to mask personally identifiable information (PII) within recorded videos.[27]
