George Ratliff (born October 11, 1968) is an American film director whose films include “Plutonium Circus” (1994), “Hell House (2001), “Joshua” (2007), "Salvation Boulevard" (2011), and “Welcome Home” (2018).

Life and Career

George Ratliff was born in Washington, D.C., and grew up in Amarillo, Texas. Ratliff attended the University of Texas at Austin. Shortly after graduating, he made his feature film debut with "Plutonium Circus," which won the Best Documentary Feature prize at South by Southwest Film Festival and received a theatrical release.[1] Ratliff directed another feature documentary, “Hell House,” in 2001.[2] Ratliff has gone on to make narrative feature films, including "Joshua" (2007),[3] which debuted at the Sundance Film Festival, "Salvation Boulevard" (2011),[4] which also debuted at the Sundance Film Festival, and "Welcome Home" (2018).[5]
