Geo AR Games is a New Zealand game development studio that creates digital experiences with a focus on education, community engagement, and social impact. The company produces augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), browser-based games, and interactive simulations, covering topics such as disaster preparedness, climate adaptation, financial literacy, cultural awareness, and animal welfare.

Geo AR Games was founded in Auckland, New Zealand in 2015 by Melanie Langlotz[1].

'Magical Park (2016)'

A mobile augmented reality playground app that places virtual creatures and tasks inside designated parks. Adopted by councils in New Zealand, Australia, and the United States[2][3].

'Cat Angels Triumph (2025)'

A narrative browser game promoting responsible cat ownership. Developed in consultation with veterinarians and animal welfare advocates, it presents scenario-based decision-making to teach proper pet care[4].

'What’s the Plan, Stan?'

An emergency preparedness game created with government support to teach players how to respond to natural disasters[5].
