Genesis Apologetics is a Christian ministry founded in 2014 by Dr. Daniel A. Biddle, dedicated to providing biblically and scientifically-based answers to questions about the origins of life, evolution, and related topics. The organization primarily serves Christian families, pastors, teachers, parents, and students, and aims to strengthen faith by grounding individuals in what it considers biblical truth and equipping them to discern error, particularly in the context of evolutionary theory..[1]

Goals and Activities

[edit]

The ministry’s stated goal is to provide practical, easy-to-understand resources—such as web articles, videos, and written materials—that support the young-Earth creationist perspective. These materials are designed to be accessible to a broad audience, including youth and educators, and are generally aligned with the positions of other leading creationist organizations, such as Answers in Genesis (AiG) and the Institute for Creation Research (ICR).[2]

Film Productions

[edit]

Genesis Apologetics has produced films:

  1. The Ark and the Darkness (2024): This documentary-style film covers the biblical account of Noah's Ark and the global flood, presenting interviews with creation scientists and using animation to visualize the event. The film argues that geology, paleontology, and other scientific disciplines support the historical reality of the flood described in Genesis. It was released in select theaters nationwide in March 2024 and features contributions from scientists associated with Answers in Genesis and Liberty University[3]
  2. Road to Emmaus (2025): This film dramatizes the biblical account Road to Emmaus from the Gospel of Luke, where the resurrected Jesus walks with two followers to the village of Emmaus, explaining how the Scriptures point to Himself. The movie aims to connect Old Testament prophecies to the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus.[4]
