Frontiers in Network Physiology, published by Frontiers Media, is a multidisciplinary peer-reviewed open access scientific journal covering all aspects of Network Physiology. The founding editor-in-chief is Prof. Plamen Ch. Ivanov (Boston University).
Launched in April 2021, Frontiers in Network Physiology provides a platform for empirical and theoretical research spanning every level of physiological organization and network integration, from metabolic, sub-cellular, and cellular processes to integrated organ systems and the whole organism, addressing challenges, current frontiers, and future developments in the field of Network Physiology.
The journal is a member of the Committee on Publication Ethics. Articles are published under a Creative Commons CC-BY license [1].
Editorial structure
[edit]A Frontiers Media management team supports journal operations. Editorial decisions are made by the editorial board. The board is divided into topical sections, each led by a Specialty Chief Editor and composed of a group of Associate Editors. The journal is supported by a broad interdisciplinary group of Community Reviewers. Associate Editors and Community Reviewers at Frontiers in Network Physiology are working scientists [2].
