"Front shop, back factory" (FSBF) is a production mode jointly developed by Guangdong Province in mainland China and Hong Kong in the early days of China's reform and opening up[1]. Using Hong Kong as a transit point, mainland goods are sold to Europe, the United States and other regions.
However, this model has gradually declined since China joined the World Trade Organization. Hong Kong industry at the same time has begun to be dominated by financial and high-tech industries.
