Fraser Peck is a Common Councillor representing the Ward of Farringdon Within in the City of London. He was elected in 2025 in a competitive election with 13 candidates contesting 8 seats[1].
Dr. Peck holds a prominent role within the Guild of Young Freemen, serving as one of the Guild’s Wardens—one of its principal officers. In this capacity, he helps lead the Guild’s initiatives aimed at involving young City professionals in livery companies and civic activities. The Guild highlighted his election to the Common Council as an exemplar of a Young Freeman and local resident actively contributing to the City's civic life[2].
Professionally, Dr. Peck is a physician and clinical scientist who trained as an ophthalmologist within the NHS. He currently serves as a Global Clinical Program Lead specializing in early-phase oncology at Immunocore, a biotechnology company. He has been recognized as one of the “40 Under 40” rising leaders in cancer research and has substantial experience leading clinical trials within the pharmaceutical industry. In 2021, he was awarded the prestigious Stonier Prize by the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine in recognition of his exceptional contribution to pharmaceutical medicine[3].
