Forrest Valkai is an American biologist, science communicator, and YouTuber in Oklahoma known for his educational content on evolution, biology, and science advocacy.

Valkai is a graduate student in biomedical anthropology at the University of Tulsa[1].

In 2018, Valkai ran as Forrest Mayer and lost against incumbent Ross Ford in the general election for Oklahoma House of Representatives District 76. Valkai had run as a Democrat on a platform of evidence-based decision-making[2].

Career

Valkai is a creator on YouTube and TikTok, where he teaches about science[1]. In 2021, he gained notoriety for explaining the biological reasons behind foot fetishes[3]. As of April 2025, his YouTube channel had 196 videos with over 28 million views[4].

In addition to his YouTube channel, Valkai appears regularly on the YouTube show The Atheist Experience, has appeared on the show The Thinking Atheist[5], and has been interviewed by the Freedom From Religion Foundation (FFRF)[6].
