Elementum Ltd., is a software company headquartered in Lehi, Utah, that provides a cloud platform for the creation and orchestration of automated business workflows.
History
[edit]Originally founded in Palo Alto, CA, Elementum was started in 2012 by Nader Mikhail and David Blonski as a start-up incubated by Flextronics. The company's focus was on supply chain management (SCM) automation.[1]
In February 2014, Elementum was spun-off as a separate entity after a fundraising round, led by Lightspeed Partners and Flextronics, raised $44 million.[2]
Additional investment rounds occurred in 2016 and 2018. Current investors include Lightspeed Partners, Future Fund, Fontinalis, and Saints Capital[3]
In 2022, Elementum expanded its software offering with an AI-powered process automation and workflow orchestration platform that uses patented technology to run securely within data clouds, such as Snowflake.[4][5]
Platform
[edit]The Elementum platform is a process automation platform that combines AI agents, Large Language Models (LLMs), rules-based workflow, and task management to automate business processes like software license management, accounts payable, and healthcare provider onboarding.
