Dylan Hurst (born 7 May 2008) is an English St John Ambulance Cadet at Keighley YSU. He joined St John Ambulance in 2021 as a Cadet and qualified as a Cadet Operational First Aider.
After completing both Cadet Leadership 1 and 2 courses he was appointed Leading Cadet within his unit.
Dylan attended the Kings Coronation on 6 May 2023 and received the King Charles III Coronation Medal.
He was Awarded the Ilkley Grammar School "Commitment to School and Community award" in 2024 for his dedication to the school and local community since Year 7.[1]
On 3 March 2025 he was awarded the National Cadet of the Year for 2025[2]by a panel of judges including Rear Admiral Simon Williams and previous NCOTY Malachi Hutchful.[3]
