Encyclopedia articles need to be written from a neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of independent, reliable, published sources, not just to materials produced by the creator of the subject being discussed. This is important so that the article can meet Wikipedia's verifiability policy and the notability of the subject can be established. Discotexas
[edit]Discotexas (often abbreviated as DTX) is an electronic music label founded in Lisbon, Portugal. Established in 2007 by Moullinex and Xinobi also known as Luis Clara Gomes and Bruno Cardoso, respectively.[1][2]
The origins of Discotexas reflect a community ethos, emerging from the collaborative efforts of its founders. Initially conceived as a loose collective orchestrating parties within Lisbon's music landscape, DTX evolved into a platform for releasing their own music.[3] During this evolution, the label embraced other artists, both admired professionals and personal connections, who resonated with their creative vision. The ethos of collaboration is central to Discotexas's approach, encouraging creative synergy among its artists and collaborators.[3] Since its inception, DTX has been marked for its distinctive sound and diverse roster, drawing praise from critics and audiences alike.[2][4]
Discotexas' audience is dispersed across the globe and their engagement has contributed to the label's growing recognition worldwide.[3]
