Digital Animation is one of several academic events sanctioned by the University Interscholastic League (UIL) through the UIL Film Festival.
Digital Animation includes films in which the images creating the illusion of movement are created with keyframes using a computer program. This is different from the Traditional Animation category, in which the images creating the illusion of movement are created 100% by hand.
List of prior winners
[edit]The Combined Conference currently includes conferences 1A, 2A, and 3A together. 4A, 5A, and 6A have their own conferences. In 2022 and before, there were only two conferences: Division 1 which included smaller schools, and Division 2 which included larger schools. In 2015 and before, there was only one category of animation instead of 'Digital Animation' and 'Traditional Animation.'
