Dead Rails is a Roblox Game created by RCM Games on January 1 2025. Since its released date, Dead Rails has gather over 1 billion visits and is one of the most popular games on Roblox. Dead Rails has created many updates including the Easter Event that was released on April 18 2025.

The game's currency consists of Bonds.

Objective

The objective of the game is to reach 80km (kilometres) using a steam locomotive. During the journey, the player have to dodge obstruction that may kill them. The player won't have unlimited coal to fuel the locomotive, so instead the player can switch to alternative ways such as using: zombie corpses, unicorns, outlaws, werewolves and horses. The player can also buy coal and weapons at every outposts which lie every 10km till the end of the game. Once the player has reached the end of the game (80km) then they will be encountered by a herd of outlaws whose goal is to kill you. Once the outlaws are defeated, the player will have to lower the bridge, which will trigger a new wave of outlaws and zombies (If the scientist zombie raid has been done, this will summon the game's boss: Nikola Tesla. The player has 4 minutes to survive and kill the boss before ending the game.)

Once the player has completed the game, they will be awarded 1 star and 10 bonds.

Classes are available in the game in order to make the player stronger, thus helping the player to complete the game much quicker.

Useful information

The player can buy weapons and medicine (for regeneration) in the lobby before starting a game, but they are single-use.

May 2 2025: Added new types of trains such as: Armoured Train, Gold Rush Train and Cattle Car Train.
May 16 2025: Added liquids, a new game mode and a new class called the Milkman.

Recent Events

Recently, Dead Rails has been losing active players count due to another game in Roblox called Grow a Garden.

Additionally, DoBig Studios, renowned for popular Roblox games such as Blade Ball and Fisch, made an offer to purchase the game. However, the developer declined the offer.
