Dead-End Job (Korean: 꿀알바) is an upcoming South Korean mystery horror fantasy television series written by Kyeong Min-sun and Lee Shin-ji, directed by Kim Da-min, and starring Lee Jae-wook, Go Min-si, Kim Min-ha, and Lee Hee-joon. It is scheduled for release on Netflix in the fourth quarter of 2026.

[edit]The eight-part series was developed under the working title Perfect Job. It is directed by Kim Da-min, who wrote A Killer Paradox (2024) and FAQ (2024), the script is a collaboration between Kyeong Min-sun, who penned Urban Myths (2022) and Tarot (2024), and Lee Shin-ji, known for writing Concrete Utopia (2023). Furthermore, Han Jun-hee, known for his works such as Coin Locker Girl (2015), D.P. series (2021–2023), and Weak Hero series (2022–2025), served as executive producer.[1]
Casting
[edit]In 2025, Lee Jae-wook and Lee Hee-joon were reportedly cast to lead the series.[2][3] On April 29, Netflix confirmed the casting lineup featuring the two Lees, Go Min-si, and Kim Min-ha.[1] On August 30, Choi Hyun-wook and Yoon Kyung-ho were confirmed to join the cast.[4][5] On November 10, Ko Chang-seok would make a special appearance.[6]
Release
[edit]Netflix confirmed Dead-End Job is scheduled to be released in the fourth quarter of 2026.[7]
