DataXoom
DataXoom built, owns and operates their proprietary API platform for connecting businesses to LTE and 5G services[1]. The company provides mobile network connectivity for enterprise purpose-built devices and solutions [2][3]. DataXoom is a partner of AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile in the United States [4]. They have offices in California, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts[5].
History
DataXoom was founded in 2012[6] in Pleasanton, California as a mobile broadband provider targeting mid- and large-sized businesses [7]. DataXoom launched in select regions in 2013 and nationwide in 2014 [8]. In 2014, DataXoom partnered with Sprint and AT&T to offer LTE network access[9][10] and now has direct agreements with all three major US carriers in the United States [11]. In 2015, DataXoom began to offer data pooling across carriers [12] and allowed enterprise customers to pool data [13] across their "bring your own device" (BYOD)[14]. In 2016, DataXoom won Channel Vision’s Visionary Spotlight Award for Enterprise Mobility – Best Enabling Technology [15][16]. In 2017, DataXoom won the AT&T Partner Exchange 2017 Top Mobile Innovator award and doubled its subscribers and revenue year-over-year [17]. In 2018, DataXoom reached 1,000 enterprise accounts[18]. In 2019, DataXoom won the AT&T Strategic Product Award for Mobility Corporate Responsible Users[19].
Products
DataXoom’s primary product is an API platform that allows mobile data services to be integrated into enterprise customers’ purpose-built solutions[20]. DataXoom’s products and services are focused on large enterprise customers[21][22], with an emphasis on healthcare, transportation, and retail[23][24].
