DM Financial is an international financial reporting and regulatory services firm headquartered in Limerick, Ireland. The company specializes in outsourced reporting, compliance, and advisory services for private equity funds, investment managers, and other traditional and alternative regulated investment vehicles.
History
[edit]DM Financial was founded in 2007 to support investment funds with complex financial reporting and cross-border regulatory compliance. The firm initially focused on providing outsourced financial reporting services to Irish and European-based funds. Over time, its client base expanded to include private equity firms, hedge funds, other complex alternative investment funds, and family offices across Europe, Asia, Cayman Islands, other offshore jurisdiction, and North America.
In June 2021, DM Financial received private equity backing from Synova[1], a UK-based growth investor, to support international expansion through M&A, team growth, and enhanced service capabilities. DM Financial purchased Netherlands-based Solutional in 2022[2], reinforcing its European presence and building its capabilities in regulatory reporting and consulting. In 2024, the firm completed the purchase of Luxembourg-based Phoenix PSF, a provider of accounting, administrative and domiciliation and services.[3] The Luxembourg-based business is regulated by the Luxembourg Financial Sector Supervisory Commission (CSSF).
In 2022 the firm rebranded from Doran + Minehane to DM Financial, and took up the brand slogan “Doing More”.
