History
[edit]Cyber Detector was founded in 2023 by Mike Orloff Haugaard Nielsen and Prakasa Visvanathan. The company was established to address the growing need for affordable and automated cybersecurity solutions for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs).
In its early stages, the company focused on launching its flagship product, Cyber Inspector, a fully managed Open XDR platform that includes SIEM, vulnerability scanning, and 24/7 SOC monitoring.
In 2024, Cyber Detector expanded its offerings to include a plug-and-play penetration testing solution called Cyber Pentest, as well as an e-learning platform, Cyber eLearning, that provides AI-generated training content for employee awareness.
In 2025, the company launched a digital tool for managing IT contingency plans, aimed at helping organizations comply with NIS2 and other EU regulatory frameworks. Cyber Detector also announced plans to expand internationally and starting with north europa.

Technology
