Blank DVD+R

DVD-R (DVD "dash" R[1]) and DVD+R (DVD "plus" R[1]) are two distinct formats of recordable DVDs. They are very similar; however, they are not the same.

The mose significant difference is the method to determine where data is on the disc. DVD-R uses "land prepits" and DVD+R uses "wobble frequency".[1][2]
